Our Mission

To perpetuate the tradition and customary practices of kanaka maoli of these Hawai’i Islands and promote opportunities to regain the spiritual connection of malama ‘āina of our ancestors by ensuring these beliefs and customs are passed down to future generations.

To foster in longevity an intuitive comprehension of cultural and environmental connectivity through the educational practice of activities that honor Hawai’i's heritage and will strengthen the community for generations to come.

Values

Kipuka Olowalu is a growing organization guided by the following values:

Kupono: Honesty. Ku is to stand upright and Pono is righteous.

Malama: To take care of properly; to nurture. Lama is the light, the generation of life.

Kokua: To help without expectation of reciprocation. Ko is the sound of infinity, a whistle into eternity. Kua is the backbone; to stand upright.

Aloha: Love and Compassion; which becomes automatic after learning the processes of Kupono, Malama, and Kokua.

HOW TO ENTER TO WIN:

There are different ways you can enter to win on the Share the Aloha website, all of which are easy to do.

Send a Postcard. You can take a photo and create a postcard to support any project on the Share the Aloha website and share the postcard using any one of the links provided in order to receive 100 FREE entries.

Get a Boost. When you share a postcard, others can Boost your postcard with a donation. When someone Boosts one of your postcards, you will receive 10 FREE entries to win for every one dollar ($1) donated.

Give a Boost. You can Boost a postcard created on the Share the Aloha site by clicking the Boost button beneath the postcard and making a donation to receive entries to win. You will receive 10 entries to win for every one dollar ($1) donated.

Selection Process: Conditional Winners will be chosen through a random selection process by PixlBank or its representative. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries held. A verification process will take place during which conditional Winners will be required to re-confirm their eligibility.
